Witch wheels ?

Hi,
I recently bought a Black 2005 GT and i love it !
I have some question and i need your advice .
I found a very good price for wheels, but im not sure if i should keep the original one or take those :

Second, i saw on e-bay a DropZone Springs with 1.8 front and rear drop, i really like a low ride, but are they good ?
I search but did not find nothing interesting .
Thanks ! And by the way, my English sucks

Personally, I think those wheels look disgusting. Starters I'm not a fan of black wheels & secondly those just don't look like they belong on the RX8. I agree with SNTP, above. Let us know your price range, and we might be able to help find a better wheel. But in the end, it is up to you. If you like them & they fit, then rock them.. Personal style is exactly that.. Your own personal choice.

You are right..

OP. It might be hard to find a set of 19s for $1000 with wheels. I'd suggest maybe running her stock for a few months, & saving up.. $2000 would definitely open more options to you. 19" aren't too cheap, and neither are the tires.

Yeah your right, they are ugly, thats what i said to him a lots of time, but at the price he almost gave it to me, i wasent sure if they were that ugly, now i know !
For the price range, i already have almost new eagle F1 GS-D3 235/40/ZR18 so it maybe more easy to find wheels for 1000 $ with my own tires . For the Spring what you guys think ?

With the money, you could get some 18's easier. As for the springs, I have never heard of them. (I also tend to stay away from Ebay) I would look into Teins which you can get an inch from, or there are Racing Beat springs that can give you an 1/2 inch drop.. With such an aggressive drop on stock shocks, I'd be afraid of them blowing out..

With a $1k, you have several options. Personally, I don't track, so the weight of the wheels wouldn't matter too much. I would look into Rotas. I personally like the Torque (18 x 9.5 = more concave) and the D2's. The torque resemble the Work Emotion Cr Kai and the D2's resemble the Work Meister.

They look like they are cast iron, yikes. I also don't know if you would want to go with a Cadillac style rim on a sports car.

you may be able to pull the TPMS out of your stock wheels and sell them on the forum...may give you some additional money to play around with for wheels.

Wheels are a personal choice....I believe the best advice you have received so far is recommendation on companies that sell wheels in your price range. Tirerack.com can give you some exposure to wheel companies that have your price range. Make sure you get accurate sizing, as many that are available on Ebay are actually smaller than our stock 18x8 wheels, or have inadequate backspacing/offset. A stock wheel is 18x8 with +50 offset.

Many on Ebay are 18x7, with offsets in the range of +35-40.

What size are the rims you are currently considering from your friend?
