Hi,

I have the Brilliant Black Mazdaspeed bumper and it comes with a black wire mesh at the bottom (covering the fog lights). I was thinking of painting that mesh Chrome/Silver. Has anyone done that and have pictures of what it looks like?

PS. Also, if I were to do it, what kind of paint should I use? I don't want it to start chipping off.

 

or just remove the oem mesh and install a silver mesh in it's place.

 

chrome= gay on any tuner car imo dont matter on what it is . BUT i have seen 1 or 2 nice rx8s on this forum rockin chrome 20" wheels and looked good..

 

I see the Corksport 8 driving around Vancouver now and then. I don't really like it, but to each his own. Here's a pic from their website:

It is, Corksport makes it. But it was the closest to what the OP wanted.

 

Thanks for the help guys. My car came with chrome wheels when I bought it used. Then I added on the chrome B-Pillar applique. So I thought I might as well go all out and paint that mesh too. Maybe silver and not chrome since that Corksport mesh looked too shiny.
