What's up everybody, name's Steve.

From what I've read while searching through the forums this place seems like a good place to find information.

I picked up an '05 RX8 on Saturday.

I'm coming from a pretty big background in DSMs. Here's a couple pictures of it:









Did everything myself. 6 bolt swap, upgraded turbo, fuel, DSMlink, brakes, suspension, you name it I had my hands on it. I never ended up really finishing it because I didn't do a final tune on the new motor. Just broke it in and sold it. I'm still living at home and going to school and this was it's 3rd motor. My mom got sick of it sitting in the garage all the time and I finally built up enough credit to get a loan on my own (she refused to co-sign).

So here's my RX8, it's the only picture I've got right now, but there will definitely be more:



It's got an exhaust and that's it. Only 17,000 miles. No big plans for it until I'm done with school in 3 years. Working on my Engineering degree (mechanical in case anyone is wondering).

While I won't be posting much it'd be cool to meet some RX8 owners around the area. I'm in Peoria so if you're close, let me know.
