ok so my engine flooded...got it towed to mazda of lodi, then i found out that my warranty expired last month...i have an 04 6spd. they said that my starter is pretty much fried and my battery wont take charge so they said that they had to replace the battery, starter, and get new plugs. freaken bastards charged me close to $1500 for it. fine...that was ok

then i started talking with one of the sales people about the new MS3 and started BSing how much it would cost for the car if i traded my 8...the MS3 with Navi costs about 26k...then he tells me a BS that its in high demand and that they have to add an extra 2k on top of that cause its brand new and on demand...no joke i laughed at his face and told him thats biggest BS i've ever heard...but ok, fine...but what really ticked me off was that they appraised my car for the trade in and told me 8k for it.....thats when i went hysterically laughing and told him "YOU F***ING INSANE?!" my car's an 04 fully loaded minus the navi and with only 34.5k miles on it...i know for a fact i can get atleast 13k for the trade in...

what have i learned? NEVER go to mazda of lodi...i much rather drive all the way to wayne

 

did you not read about my issues and the issues from the other dude who's engine warantee was denied??

I almost purchased an MS3 my price from wayne mazda was 22.5 before sales tax that was the GT also so that is really a load of BS that sucks.

 

I bought my 8 from them,I'll admit the price was good but the service is horrible.

 

ooooh maybe i should go there and do some shopping...i bought my 8 there 3yrs ago and the price was awesome hahah...i got the 8 lowered to 26k and then traded my 2000 accord for 10k which i was only suppose to get 7k...talk about a deal!

oh yea i forgot to mention, mazda of lodi gave me the offer of leasing the MS3 for $539 a month for 36months and $2500 down...are they freaken insane?! with that i can get the infiniti G37s which they quoted me a WHOLE lot less

 

if you get a scoobie and you mod stay away from nasioc.....i know for a fact that they are on there and one of the mods works at soa....my buddy just got a well equiped 08gt rx8 at wayne for just under 26k.....if you want me to get you a good deal let me know and ill talk to the guy that hooked my buddy up

 

yea i think im gonna lease the ms3 but i still need a good deal on it...im just planning on giving my 8 to my parents so they can trade it in for a nice car themselves...just a little something i can do for all they've done

wayne mazda is a 25 min-30 min drive but worth it for the customer service and i noticed ramsey mazda is about a 20 min drive but they have the best prices on parts and labor. haven't got anything done by ramsey yet but their pricing is the best.

i need a new plastic piece for under the car that protects the a/c condenser... lodi wanted $699(installed), wayne mazda wanted $365(installed) and ramsey wanted $151 + 45 for install.

stock battery costs like $100-120...
starter you can buy on ebay for $100... but it's $400 (brand new)on mazsport
plugs are less than $140...

dam sorry to hear that bro yeah man I bought my 08 GT 6pd from Wayne and they HOOKED ME Up...gave me full value on my trade in (06 Scion TC m/t) and gave me a hella of a deal on the 8.

GO TO WAYNE....actually if my gf decides to buy a new car in the near future I know for a fact they gonna hook her up for me as well...already started negotiating w/them so she is excited but is gonna wait to see whats what first. She is almost done payingoff her 03 civic.

 

yea thats where i got my 8 too and they hooked me up thanks to yosop aka flyboi1121...i LOVE LOVE LOVE my 8 but i dont feel like its gonna last me more than 2yrs tops...and i need a car thats a bit more reliable but i dont wanna get a crappy honda or a suv...i need something practical, reliable and with some power...thats why im looking either the wrx or ms3...but man what a downgrade it will be

 

actually the wrx and ms3 got *****...down grade on handling maybe, but nothign a bit of suspension work cant correct, but it'll never handle like the 8...

 

yea true both the wrx and ms3 are pretty fast which i like but as u said the handling sucks and not only that it looks like crap...even my dad was saying it looks like crap...and i'd jump on the ms3 only if it wasnt FWD...i want AWD or RWD
