Hey folks:

I got some cash, so I'd like to add the other component of that to my 8 (the flash--as if she wasn't flashy enough).

What would you all recommend for a decent looking body kit that won't detract from the overall appearance of the 8?

the mazdaspeed kit is well liked by all.

 

mazdaspeed kit is awesome but a lot of money.... i would say the oem lip kit is pretty nice or any kind of lip kit really accents the 8 nicely while keeping the curvy body

 

The MS and appearance pkg kits are nice but awfully common since there are thousands of them out there.

It's taken quite a while so far but hopefully won't be too much more of a wait. Plus it'll definately make your 8 unique.

 

they are common because they keep the car very clean looking. the 8 has many curves and many of the kits kind of take away the smooth look of the 8.

I think he meant what I said prior that Accolade stuff looks great in person but when you receive the item you have to do a lot of fab work to get it fitted properly. Google them and see how many other forums have had nothing but problems with them.

Plus there kits are made in Sri Lanka

dont look too bad to me, most body kit companies got mixed reviews so im not surprised.

a body shop will need to do a little bit more work i guess.

I personally think the Veilside Ver. 1 gives the 8 a clean look.. I just ordered one.. just waiting!

 

I say get the R-Magic FR & Sides & the Veilside Rear.. Its was I did.. heh. (in a way)
