Yokohama S.drive

Does anybody have any experience with these tires? I know they are fairly new to the market, but they seem like a good tire for the price. I'm looking for a quiet, durable UHP tire for my 8, I've narrowed my search to these tires along with the Nitto 555s.

replace the es100's which are supposedly comparable to the toyo t1r's

What size tire are you looking for?

I'm looking for the stock size Size (225/45R-18). I'm wondering are these Yokohamas a better choice than the Nittos for light track usage.

I've driven on them several times. Good over all traction in dry and wet. As long as you rotate (yes i know they are directional, that mean dismounting and remounting) and keep correct air pressure they are quiet and stay quiet.

225/45R18 Yokohama S.DRIVE -- 157.00
245/40R18 Yokohama S.DRIVE -- 158.00

I still have to throw this out there, 225/45/18 Bridgestone Potenza S03 are still on clearance for 115.00 each. One of the best performance tire made at the econo tire pricing.

The Yoko S are really good tires. I'm buying the same ones come this spring if that helps.

Conner: I too am in the market for a HP summer tire. I have worn out my OE Bridgestones in only about 14,000 mi. Am looking for the performance, but with a bit more wear. Any suggestions? I have been looking at the Kumho Ecsta MX and the Potenza S-03 Pole Postions.

Thanks,

Edwin
