Have you looked at the blackbook value for our cars........The model you are looking at including all options ie. adding a sunroof. The value is 15k on the high end and that would be an absolutely mint vehicle. I have a 04 GT and have had all the recalls done and its been great, no real issues at all. I currently have my eye on a 05 gt with 20000km on it and the dealer wants 25500 for it, the dealer is pricing them high but the true value is much lower. Would negotiate that price a bit if I were you.

Are you moving all your mods to the new car?
I will be when I get it.....looking to switch up at the end of the upcoming summer I think, maybe middle. If I get a different car, you will be the first to know about the availiable parts boffam.
Some guy is off loading an 06 through lease busters with next to no kms on it for $384 / month. If I weren't in the middle of my own lease on a MS6 I would gobble that up quick if it doesn't show signs that he wrapped it around a telephone pole or something.
$384 !!
You can't get a Yaris for that.

LOL
OMG this is a joke right?
I would love it if the re-sell value of our 8's was that high, I just don't believe that it is.
Let us know what you get for it.
I might pay 22,000 cdn for a brand new 2004/2005 RX8 with 0 km on it maybe.

Black Book is wholesale price. It is not market price. Dealers use the black book for trade in guide. 22k for an 04 mint is about right. Depending where you are is important too. Quebec cars are usually cheaper followed by Ontario. BC cars are priced higher due to lack of road salt damage.
*Asking* price maybe. If it blackbooks out to $15-16k, then it should retail at $18-19k.
Either way you look at it, it's a good value. That's why there are a lot of RX-8s on the road all of a sudden. They're all coming off their 2004 leases and smart buyers are stepping up to give the car a chance, rotary be damned.
I was standing on Yonge St. half an hour ago and saw two RX-8s within 30 seconds. I remember when I first bought this car, I'd see another one maybe once a month.
