Just wondering what anyone's experience with FRP front ends is. I am considering getting a veilside front bumper but not sure how it will hold up. Anyone have any advice or could let me know how their own situations have gone would be great. Thanks.

 

is it genuine veilside?

if it is, i wouldnt worry about it.

 

frp is stiff and brittle so don't plan on hitting or bumping anything. as long as you're careful, there are not problems with fiberglass. it'll happen eventually, but don't bottom out too much either.

 

2 years and no cracks so far.....but mine is real....i seen some fakes crack by just hitting pot holes

ok I am debating between the veilside or a replica urenthance ms. Does anyone know what the clearance differences is between the appearance pkg, veilside and the ms kit? I currently have the app pkg on my car.

 

depends on if you got springs...my veilside is approx 4 inches but i have espelier springs.....which is close to a 2 inch drop after settling...replica ms.....all i gotta say is good luck on fitment

 

ok I am not getting the replica ms. I have decided on getting the authentic ms rear and sides. Just debating on the ms auth front or the veilside. The ms is quoted at 1345. Not sure what to do yet. and I dont have any drop at all right now so hopefully I will be ok.

 

just helping here....... if you get the VeilSide parts from us, you get the warranty plan. Crack the bumper for ANY reason? We will sell you a new one for 50% off.

and about FRP.... yes, it is fiberglass. It WILL break if you hit certain things. You just have to be careful and drive with your eyes open all the time. It takes a short time to get used to, but it is fine.

Don't hit tires or animals on the freeway though!
