i really want a black car for some reason, fits my personality, i think im in love with the RX8's design, the 4 door full 4 seats, the steering wheel control, the 50/50 balance making for easy control at higher speeds. the head lights everything! The thing is though the Black RX8's dont show the front end Detail as well as the other colors. i'd settle for a white one with carbon fiber. or a Maybe the red one with dark tint. Dont really like the blue much.

what color what you guys suggest? which one looks best if i were to add some things.

i'll edit and say my brother has a pretty kick&(* Sage mustang with shiny rims and all black Tint.......im playing catch up at this point i need some help im going crazy looking for something better.

I recall reading somewhere here that Silver was the highest production count. Figures as there about a dozen shades of RX8 silver.

My favorite is black. I wish I had bought one in black, but the only ones they had also had the tartan style red/black seats. Ugh-lee.

Over the years my special cars have been black and I've had emblems re-plated with gold. Not as expensive as you might think, even an RX8 would be under $200. Yes you can plate gold over plastic. Also gold accent wheels. On a couple cars I had BBS 3-piece with gold centers.

My first car was a 1965 Corvair Corsa in 1971 that I painted black with gold rear light panel, brass trim, and recessed roor handles with brass hinged handles - similar to the Porsche door handles. Brass bezels around the headlights. 15" Crager gold colored alloys with 70 series tires, and lowered 2". Too bad it had drum brakes. A year later the John Player Lotus F1 came out with the same color scheme, and I've been hooked on Black & Gold ever since.

 

I'd say go for a black 8 if you really like the color. It's going to be a pain to keep clean, but I think it's a great color for the 8.

 

Lightning yellow (except they didn't make them except for '04) but if not yellow i would have went for the black especially if thats what u want get what u reallyy want or u wont' b happy

 

Seems to me you've already answered your own question. Get what you like or you'll allways have regrets. The only exception is if you are a married man. In that case, get what your wife likes or you'll allways have regrets.

Silver, black, and white are the most popular car colors of all makes an models, with the individual percentages changing from year-to-year. Between the three of them, they make up close to half of all cars sold in the world. Fleet sales have a lot to do with this, but there it is.

I like silver. My 8 is not my first silver car. Got my first silver car in '77.

 

i have velocity red and everytime someone sees it for the first time they say it looks bad ***....i think vr has the best meca(metallic) look and around the 8s curves it really stands out...

 

blue or red. i prefer the blue over the red though.

 

The Yellow REALLY shines, like people absolutely love it, and it is very rare, you won't find any nicer looking yellow cars in your area, I've looked at every yellow car on the road and none are as good looking as my 8.

 

Check out the stormy blue.

 

I have a 04 in TiT gray and love the colour.

 

I have a black and i love it. I agree that it doesnt show the contrast as much in the front, But it's more noticable in real life than in most pictures. BB 8's always look better in person as well. But you can't go wrong with white or red. Great colors as well.

 

Velocity red looks absolutely gorgeous just after a wash and wax.

 

I'm a fan of the nordic green which is a dark green (last used on 2005s). It gets mistaken for black at night usually. I like the grey as well.

 

I love my silver. But it comes with a curse that no other color has. So be weary. And get a discount if it is silver....

 

Check out stormy blue. It's dark, but not as dark as black so it might show off the lines more. Looks good with the sand interior.

I also like the grays, Titanium Gray, Galaxy Gray, and the new 40th Anniversary Gray.

The copper red shinka '06 was really nice also.

But I like black best.

 

The lightning yellow. People around just simply love it.

 

"Sunlight Silver" is the most wrecked lol So I guess you can say "mass fav"?

 

Get an orange one.

 

I say pink.

 

The nordic green, and the Stormy Blue Both look really nice! i still like the black but those darker colors dont block the detail as much.

 

Wisest advice I've seen here in a long time.
