Correct me if I'm wrong, but that car came with a 2JZ so thats why it doesn't make sense. Even if it didn't come with it, I know its a drop in engine, so why spend the money to fab up and custom fit a 20B when the 2JZ is an awesome engine and drops right in.

Still Cool though.

Edit: I think it was actually the 1JZ engine that came with it, not 2JZ.

Yeah, the 2JZ would be the swap of choice for SC300.

take the front splitters off, take the roof spoiler off, paint the engine bay to match the car, and get a different color air diverter panel and that car would be perfect.

I don't think we are flaming it, its just that it doesn't make much sense. From a performance standpoint and a monetary standpoint, the 2JZ would be the better swap.

As far as uniqueness, it is an awesome swap. I like it, but its not the swap I would have done.

I recall about a year or so back, Ah maybe even till today, AT RX-8 members will start a thread asking about swaping from AT to MT and everyone tells them its not worth it, its to much money, blah blah blah.

Yes it comes with a 1JZ. The Supra 93+ comes with a 2JZ. I love the sound of the 1JZ.

the SC300 came with a 2jz-ge which is the n/a version of the 2jz-gte in the twin turbo supra. The N/a MKIV supra also came with a 2jz-ge.
