So when do you swap your winter wheels?

Just wondering when everyone swaps there winters out for the summers? Or if you store the car, when do you pull it out for summer?

I usually take it out of storage in the last weeks of March, and keep the winter tires on a few more weeks because you never know when one of those surprise snow storm will hit

My car usually sees the road by mid-late March.
We get those odd days where it gets really nice. Perfect weather for the 7 to stretch its legs a bit.

I usually swap to my summers in Mid-April. Although I have been caught out by the weather before that time of year. Otherwise I drive the 8 year around.

In 2003 I put on my summers 2 days before a massive snow storm with ice pellets. That taught me to wait a bit.

I find that any temp below 10 makes the compound so hard that I have no adhesion at all.....thats when I know its time to change.

Yeah the weather is nuts! Big snow storm > freezing rain > another storm.

I am hoping to swap mid to late March but I ordered axis reverbs and they're out of stock. Hoping they'll come by then to make the switch.

Great days ahead!

I usually switch over mid-march before the performance world show. But with the weather like it is now, i dunno. We got a few big snow storms this year.

Usually end of March or early April for me. Then I wait another week or so before putting the summers on my wife's car, just in case we get caught in a late storm and need to get somewhere.
