To paint my brake calipers... my car is of course black cherry. I was thinking the customary 'red' might not look too good with the black cherry.

Opinions??

 

I think Black is the only good color. In fact I wouldnt paint my caliper any other color than black. Actually silver might not look too bad either. To me red or any other color just screams cheap painted calipers. If you are only painting them for rust protection, might as well pain them a discreet color.

IMO, painting the brake calipers makes the car look cheap.

 

I have a BB, with black wheels. and i painted my calipers red. I think it looks very nice and have had many complaments.

i thought about black.... gold is a big NO..sry... too blingy for me... i thought abought some shade of purple?.?.?

+1 for Gold! If not gold, try something like a gunmetal gray or black. Don't do red that would look really bad IMO.

 

silver or.. gunmetal? because they make the calipers more discreet as they blend well with the rotors.

 

I wish i could find a pic of a Black Cherry 8 with the calipers painted red just so i would know if i liked it or not.....

 

you cant find a pic because all the other owners think gold looks better haha.
