I've heard a lot of good things about Shine. In this particular kit I believe it can use some reinforcement in certain areas. Nothing too terribly expensive. If you were in the market for a replica kit, this would be the one you want.

Wow, I didn't realize Shine was still selling these. Good news for those who missed out on the group buy.

Shine seems to have a good reputation with other car forums. most people here are 'anti-replica' so just keep that in mind.
I've read mixed reviews on the Autobahn front end. It sounds like the material used is good but the fitment isn't the greatest without getting a bit of work done on it. (not a lot, but don't expect to be able to just slap it on and have it fit perfectly)

What do they mean :
Sideskirts $350 (center section of sideskirts do not attach to the body of the car...only the ends)

yeah just got an email from ken !!

haha it just need minimal body work such as paint and install.

he mentioned that make sure try it before paint them in case.

I believe there are fwe cases which the kit is not fit perfect.

still... it's better than spending 2~4k on the kit though lol

Thanks guys for your helps!

japanparts.com sells the bumper for about $900 and side skirts for $558. I hope no one is paying close to $4,00o for this kit!

oh no. I meant in general.

$2,123.90 for only part price, but then shipping prob cost another hundred?

waiting for the item.. - priceless

also some genuine one cost about 3500 ish too (for all set)

but autobahn bumper for 600 shipped is pretty good deal..

I bought the autobahn front from Shine. Had that painted, the MS sides, rear aero flares and trunk spoiler installed all for $900 in Quincy. I thought it was a bitch much, and there are some minor fitment issues with the bumper, but it doesn't bother me as much anymore.

i never said anything about gaining horsepower. I've had my previous cars kitted and painting and repainting along with scraping, going at extreme angles gets old really fast. If your car is really low forget about keeping the front end scratch free if your a daily driver. On top of that, if you wanted to lower your car you'd have to keep it at a minimum. How do I know? I drove NGO RX8's car and scraped it. Happy scraping!

thats funny, mine needed much more than "minimal" body work. apparently they bodyworked it a little before making the mold, so purchasing an authentic might be worse, who knows.

I've always been against replica kits. Its rare to come across a replica that was anywhere near an authentic kit in quality.

yeah I really think they are not making all perfect fitted parts.. Maybe few out of

entire products has some error... and possibly you took one...

I was not really sure whether I trust shine's "direct fit", most of people

kept saying those are pretty much fit well..

But I'm really sorry that you had real bad exp. with shine though.

I'll let you know when mine gets here
