How to tell if TPMS is installed

Hi all, new owner here.
I have a 2004 RX-8 with Manual Trans, and I love it so far.

My car has aftermarket wheels, and I'm trying to figure out if the TPMS sensors are installed.

Here's what I have been able to figure out by reading other posts:
All RX-8s came with TPMS from the factory.
I should have a TPMS warning below 16MPH, if the sensors were not installed in my aftermarket wheels.

Is this correct? I'm not seeing any TPMS warning, so that should mean that the sensors are installed, and the tires are at an acceptable pressure, right?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, and thanks for the wonderful help you all give the community.

You can tell by looking at the valve stems. If they look aluminum and bulky, then you have tpms installed.

If you didnt have TPMS installed on your aftermarket wheels, after driving for so long the light would start to blink for a while, & then shortly after that it would either stay on, or go away I believe mine stays on after its done blinking, but I havent driven the car in 2 months, so I couldnt tell you...

Try depleting a tire down below 16 psi & see if the light comes on?

I have no warning light, and no buzz or beep. Great idea about deflating a tire to test it. I never thought of that, but sometimes the simplest things are the best.

Thanks guys for your help.

I don't get it. Why is that funny? Maybe I'm missing something.

Oh and BTW, the dealer confirmed that I do have TPMS installed.
