Talking My GF bought me a *second* RX-8!

My *most adorable* GF got me a second RX-8 for XMas but I only got it today...

It's a pretty rare 1:18 AutoART model... I usually order them from Germany but I was never able to locate a LHD Black one... the GF finally found one in Kong Kong

As usual with AutoART the attention to detail is incredible.

That is the greatest thing ever. I have a shrine on my desk of "toy" rx8's, you know the remote control drifting ones, but i dont have an actual model. How much would one of those cost, or something similar in quality and size?

About 90$ in store, but I recommend negotiating the price down if you can.

Once I told a store manager that I really wanted to buy a few models from him but that they'd all stay in his display case a long time because they were blatantly overpriced (90$). I got a pair of lambos 40% off.

OMFG
The engine cover is removable (I used pincers) and it uses the exact same little grommets/holes at the same location than the real thing... this is so neat!!

wow! my brother got me the same christmas gift! except of course, in red. you can use that little stick to pry off the engine cover without worrying about damaging it with pincers. slid it between the air filter and uh.. the box next to it.

I just picked up mine from Speednation. Titanium gray model for $55. It is a really cool model, the first 1:18 I've owned of an actual vehicle I own.

Congrats on the Xmas gift!

That's my concern also. Can you get spoilers for it?
