LED foglights / DRLs

So, I decided to give V-LEDs LED H11 bulbs a try. They aren't as bright as halogen bulbs, but I wasn't expecting them to be. I really wanted something that matched the LEDs that I have in the parking and corners. They are definitely bright enough to used as DRLs.

Here's what the bulbs look like:

What they look like in the foglight housing (noticed I removed the reflector caps):

A comparison with the Luminics Titanium White bulbs that I've been running until now. My cheap camera gives them a reddish lense flare which you don't see in person:

And a couple more with and without headlights:

In contrast, the brightest bulbs I have are the PIAA Ion Yellow bulbs... When I get sick of these LEDs I'll probably put them back in:

They aren't on VLED's website, but if you visit their eBay store you can find them. I decided to take them out though. The light output is good enough, they are just a little too blue for my taste. If you are intersted in them I'll let them go for $30 shipped, only used for 2 days ($50 shipped on eBay). PM me if interested. If I don't hear from you I'll be putting them in the FS section soon.

Wow, those are pretty bright! I recently installed some Xenon match fog light bulbs from Hoen. I'm happy with them so far, and seem to be a much more durable than that crap I got from autoillumination.com.

Not to hijack Aipex's thread but I have a set of those that are less than a week old. Nothing wrong with them but I had the LEDs that are due to arrive in 2 days. If you want to take the Hoen's off my hand I'll sell you my Xenonmatch H11s (practically brand new) for like 20 + shipping.

Forgot to post some pics of my LED setup:

LEDs all around... Just have my sun visor bulbs to change out now and the whole car minus turn signals and low beams will be LED.

Wow, old thread. FYI, the LED bulbs that I used in this thread were not very bright and I sold them then upgraded to V-LEDS current 68 MSMT fog bulb:

You can see pics of that by clicking the link under my sig pic.

kainis2k, those look great! Which LED bulbs are you running? The ones I have pictured at the begining of this thread or the current 68 LED version. They look really bright! Love the puddle lights too! I might have to get me a set of those.

lol I posted it in the wrong thread you sig link is definitely where I meant to post it rofl. Anyways, I ordered the H8s or something like that. I remember you told me the only diff is the small piece of metal that you can clip off. Took me awhile to get that inner cap off but in the end was definitely worth it. Now if I could just keep the moisture out lol. Resealed them once but didn't take so I'll likely be doing it again soon lol.
