Best bet is to get an 04 automatic salvage title rx8 that has lots of mods . Cheapest rx8 u can find haha

OK... this guy is selling his 04 fully loaded with mods... 37K miles on it... he said he thinks he will sell it for $16,200... I dont know the full history or story with the car but it is the closest you will find to what you are looking for... it has nav, black and red interior, carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber gas door, appearance package, and all the goodies... it is an automatic though... don;t know what you want exactly but beggars can't be choosers... just figured I would hook you up with a link for the car and tell him razorride sent you to him

No problem on the find man... I am also a former VW owner... and from experience in them I will tell you that yes your GTI with a few mods will beat the RX8 in a straight line, but the RX8 is a much better handling vehicle. No need to get upset with people on the forum. I used to too, but you just need to realize that negativity will come at you from all angles man. To keep yourself from getting bashed just take things as a grain of salt and go on about your daily routine...

Also, its an auto, automatics are quite a bit cheaper as you may have already found out (and for good reason imo)
