dealer is goin to be very expensive im thinking $500 or more for paint and install especially throu a dealer.. mirrors are very easy to install maybe u can save a little bit of cash and do it urself as for paint just take it to a good body shop around where u are

I'd guess 300 or less from a body shop.

body shop that i go to (Michael J's in San Jose) charges 75 an hour. Figure 1 hour for wing install then whatever they're going to charge for paint and install on mirrors.

Let us know how hard it is to see.

I hear they create blind spots.

DJM: take it to a reputable paint shop and I would imagine they could paint them for about $150.

Installation shoudl be pretty easy, just reverse order of taking the oem's off. Have a copy of the service manual? There might even be a DIY on here. No real sense in paying a bodyshop to do it.

I can check the service manual when I get home tomorrow to see if they've got instructions on removing the thing.

The mirror is held on by 3 bolts behind the tweeter. There are two locator pins on the outside. Bottom pin is straight, top is off center and requires you to pull out slightly, pull up, the out again.. otherwise it snaps off.

They look great. I am thinking of getting them myself. Are they set up for RHD or LHD? Do you know where your wife got them from?
