+1. My friend had it with the race pipe. I could barely hear myself in the car. The only thing I don't like about the exhaust is its tips. Reminds me of the Helix tips.

We, RX-8 club members raged all over it. So the Turbo EX said: "This is sad" and stoped making it and that sucks cuz I like the sound and it seams like it realy put down some hp.

No CAT full exhaust with race pipe and I think he took off the silencers. Talk about loud!

From what I recall, people complained about the exhaust tips being too recessed which caused several member's exhaust shrouds to melt (The tips are shorter than the OEM exhaust). TurboXS didn't want to change the design and decided to discontinue the product instead.

 

When they discontinued it, they dropped the price to around $500 for exhaust and midpipe, which made it an extremely good deal, even if you have to drop another $100 to cut off the tips and install longer ones. They had this lower price out for quite a while (over a year?), and have yet to sell out.

a buddie of mine called turbo xs today and they said that they dont have any in stock, but they can probably part one for him.

 

does any one know if the turbo xs exhaust with the race pipe will pass inspection ??
