Hey guys,

Quick questions....how safe are our bumpers, or how much pressure can our bumpers (front and rear) take before cracking and/or breaking? Is it 5mph?

The reason is, some dude was backing into a parking spot and didn't stop totally before bumping my rear bumper with his rear bumper. As soon as I felt the car jerk, I jumped out and checked, but both our cars seemed ok....no scratches, cracks, or loose bumpers? The guy must have been going 2-3km/h. I was thanking God all the way home!

So, back to my original question....how much pressure can it safely take?

About a year and a half ago got bumped by a pickup truck parallel parking in front of me. Result? Square shaped dent. Similar happened in the back. Action? Full re-amemiya kit
