Recently installed the HKS Metal Catalyzer Mid pipe. Dont have all the details about it yet. Here are some pics of it:

















Keep in mind, this is a JDM piece only and will not be advertised or kept in stock by HKS USA. Although it can be specially ordered by companies that import most jdm products. I dont' have any dyno numbers or figures yet so save your typing until I can get it.

If you guys want to bitch about the product (there was another thread opened up about this product previsouly and it was full of your typical rx8 owner bitching and whining) don't bother posting on this thread. I am merely here to expose this piece as it pertains to the rx8.

flames r not a problem with this setup, it likes to shoot 4 footers in 2nd gear with ease if hot enough, keep in mind the exhaust tip is titanium as well ..btw towards the end of the video u can see a blue flame

Nice set-up, I have the same thing done to my R34 and I'm thinking about doing this to my RX8.

 

that's a nice piece... bet it's not as loud as a RB test-pipe... cant ven have a conversation with passanger when the test-pipe is on the car lol

haha. after you rev consistantly for a while you can time when the pop is gonna come. I'm over here making a popping noise when it happens.
