I personally went with G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY's lightly used exhaust. But that does sound like a great deal.

 

Do you mean Almaden or Oak Tree Mazda? I'm looking for the dual sport too but can't find it under $660.00 (Rosenthal) which is rediculous. May end up going RB with straight pipe for the track.

 

Oh Almaden is now Capitol. Found the coupon too. I doubt they'll give 25% off of a MS dual exhaust but I will be calling!

Well here's the deal. The coupon is good thru 12.31.2007. The MS dual is priced at $750.00 (their stealership) so with the coupon and tax it's coming out to a little over $600. It's not as a good a price as I was hoping for. Apparently, their system is down right now so he plans to call back when he can verify stock.

Too bad we can't get a club vendor to do a GB for $550 +-.

 

What are you planning to switch to? Your impressions of the MS Dual??

 

I just talked to the guy too. The price for the MS Wing is the cheapest if you go with these guys.

HOWEVER, I'm only in California for a couple of days, and then going back to Florida. If I ship the wing back to Florida, the s/h costs will probably be the same as going with a different place. Unless of course, I somehow manage to carry the wing onto the airplane (don't see this one happening) or shoving this into my check baggage. (I have a huge military duffell bag, but I still don't see it fitting)

What did he quote you on the wing? My dealer wants almost 1K for the MS exhaust believe it or not!!

I would try to carry it on the plane. The stewardess might be able to stow it. I wouldn't check it though. You'll probably have to have it shipped though because I doubt they have it in stock.

 

^ you shittin me? I got quoted $884 for the wing. Tax included! Of course, they didnt have any in stock, and they'd have to order it. 2-3 days they told me.

haha. I don't think theres a way to stow this thing as a "carry-on". iono.. i'm trying to find out the dimensions on this thing.

 

$884 sounds like a decent price on the wing. Think I'll pull the trigger on their exhaust...now to find a midpipe for the track.

 

I like the MS dual, although mine has developed a bit of rust on the tips. I may be changing to the stock exhaust with a high-flow cat, but I haven't decided yet. One of my buddies will probably be taking the MS, but if he doesn't and I decide to make the switch, I will post it for sale here.

 

The guy at Capitol mazda is Dino, he's their parts man. Nice guy and went the extra mile to confirm that mazdaspeed makes nothing in galaxy grey.. woot.
