Photoshop Pinstriping ideas

I'm trying to figure out a good pinstriping scheme for the RX-8. I've attached some jpegs of ideas I've been working on. One thing I quickly discovered is how difficult the 8 is to pinstripe! The flowing and varying surfaces do not easily lend themselves to being "divided" up with pinstripes. It's almost like trying to pinstripe a moebus strip.

Any suggestions/feedback?

Ole Spiff

please put your hands up and step away from the computer :p

the top one doesn't look horrible buy you have to cut it off sooner rather than running it the whole way around the front cover. The one that archs over the wheel wells makes me cringe and don't get me started on front cover one spanning the fogs...

Just the top pinstripe seems like a possibility, without it wrapping around the nose. All the others seem silly and out of place.

Ole Spiff... based on that reception, if you add those mods to your car, it will at least be unique.

Do what you think looks best - if we all had the same tastes it would be very boring world. (No doubt we'd all be driving white stock Corollas).

And the batmobile was never cool, get a grip people! The Batman TV series was pure camp.

And you didn't even have the vaguest sense that a twenty-years-younger little boy sidekick in a tight costume was a teeny bit suspicious? :D

That said, I did have a little Matchbox Batmobile, bought for me against my will for Christmas I might add. It was destroyed in glorious flames like most of my other toys.

No no, it all burns. Die-cast has a very low melting point, lead and tin. Mmm, fire...

Okay well since you all were so shy in telling me what you think, I decided to try a revision based on your oh-so-subtle suggestions. (hehe)

BTW, this is not my car; I have a blue one but I used this because it had a nice angle of view.

I did find it interesting though that no one seemed to notice the retouched rims; those are the stock RX-8 rims but I darkened the "spokes". I'm sure now that I've mentioned it everyone will be equally shy at giving me feedback on how they look. :D

Ole Spiff

mod edit - this pic is broken sorry
