Nothing much has changed but at least now it's official. And apparantly it's got 300hp?? Hmm, interesting.....

Hopefully we'll get to see it on this side of the pond...

well, it says 300 limited edition in japan on the bottom left corner. In the other words, they only made 300 of those in japan.

 

is it me or does that color look almost like the X-Men RX-8 color (aka Mutant Blue)????

 

yeah, it looks a lot darker than mine.

 

That's the Japanese Version of the Mazdaspeed RX-8, Not the US version. The J-Spec version basically consists of Mazda bolting on all the Mazdaspeed parts for you, and painting it a different color... from the Factory.

If the US Mazdaspeed version ever comes out, it should be vastly different... As in: other company's aftermarket parts, boosted, and a different body kit. But your guess is as good as mine when, or even if, that'll hit the streets.

 

It may have 300hp however when you convert it to North American specs it will have about 238hp.........

 

 

When does Canada get it?
