i heard the auto's really DO have a 6-port renesis its just the other two ports are located directly under the front bumper where the appearance lip would normally go.. maybe thats the reason!!

Yeah, Canaryrx8 has an auto with the appearance package.

 

Ok wait... my bad... he has the MazdaSpeed body kit, not the appearance package.

 

I just dont see how a simple "lip" would be different on the automatics.

 

ive seen aprearence packages on auto rx8's.

 

yeah, i think it's just mazda's way of saying "get a MT!"

 

i was kidding about the other post obviously but only think i can think of is something to do with the other oil cooler not being there to mount to...

So...people have seen auto rx8s with the appearance package? because I really want to get one and mine is auto..

I want to know for sure because the last thing I want to do is order the parts and realize I can't.

i dont think its the additional oil cooler as us ozzies get ripped off with only one oil cooler on the MT and i have a appearance package

 

I have an AT and I used to have the appearance package, until I got my bodykit installed. Here are some pics:

I knew it would fit. I mean its just a plastic lip that has double sided 3M tape and some screws. lol

 

okay thats good news. because in my opinion, the rx looks SO much better with it. hey dan, are you also thinking of getting it? it seems like it since you were anxious to know aswell. lol
