Not me. I don't plan on venturing to far the lower mainland this winter (at least, that's the plan...). We could easily go all winter with no snow staying on the ground so it shouldn't really be necessary (again, hopefully...)

mine's going back to Mazda in 1 or 2 weeks! Else I would've gotten winter tires! I know last year we had a rediculously low level of snow but who knows! Maybe we'll get mass snow this winter!

hehe...
i got my car on the night that snowed...

it was horrible... my 8 was going side-way ...
couldnt brake nor accel... i was going 20-30 km/h only...

i guess snow tires is a MUST when driving in such condition...

btw, we got massive snowfalls this winter !! crazy !! i had to leave my 8 in the garage again

Have a look for 'winter tires' threads in here, the Tires and Wheels section, and the RX-8 Discussion section of the forum - many of us have winter tires, and the RX-8 does great in snow. The OEM tires are performance summer tires, and it's the tires that are absolutely useless and treacherous in snow.

IF you have the OEM tires - do NOT drive your RX-8 in snow, period, at all!

Regards,
Gordon
