Anyone? Anyone at all?

I know there were a few of us on here a while ago... what happened to everyone? Seems like everyone is in Austin, Houston, or Dallas.

 

Heh...ppl in SA just dont like to stick together...I've seen lots of 8's down there too...

If its any consolation I'll be heading down there for the holidays with my 8...heh

 

Yeah, I kinda figured that. I helped one guy on here do an oil change once... probably about a year ago. He said thanks, left, and never seen him on the board again.
There are a lot of 8's down here, but mostly they are just drivers and not enthusiasts.. oh well... maybe I should move to Austin.

 

It IS better up here...its been a while since any of the Austin folk got together for grub...I should prolly see if I can get something arranged...

 

That'd be cool, I'd definately try and show up again, if you guys do... it's lonely down here.

I get out there a few times a year. Everytime I've gone I've tried to get the attention of SA 8 owners on this board but I have yet to actually find anyone to meet up with. I also get out to Austin a few times a year but still haven't met anyone there either. I was out there over Thanksgiving weekend. I'll meet twinkie yet!

Thanksgiving I was in Hell Paso...XMas I'll probably be terrorizing SA w/ a buddy...He's got a Cobra putting down like 550+...told him he needs to drive something with a quarter of the torque haa haa...

I've noticed that its been a while since I've bitched loud enough for the Austin peeps to get together...maybe its time to crash Avenger's new place for meat burning or just get beer at Chili's...

i live about 2 1/2 hours south of s.a.

I posted a thread on www.alamomotoring.com asking if there were any 8's, no one really responded 'cept a few.

 

We have a machine shop in Alice named Ram Gear cut our large gears for us. Can't say I've been there though.
