Talking Polish For Your 8!

Was browsing the Australian forum and there's a topic on Swissol products.

Have a look at http://www.swissol.com/E/GB/Produkte_Entry.htm

Bloody hell! This has to be the most expensive set of car care products I've ever seen!
Does anyone have any experience of using them and can say that they are/are not worth the money!?
I'm tempted to stick with Turtle wax!

I know it is recommended on the Subaru forum as well.

I bought a starter kit two years ago for about £70 from a guy who subsequently sold out his business to Swissol.

It's by far the best stuff Ive ever used, and after two years I still have half the tub of wax left.

If you can afford it it is definately good stuff.

Very impressed with the Maguires (Mguires?) stuff. Gold class and scratch X are both good.
Also like Autoglym Wax - very easy to apply

Use to like Autoglym but prefer Turtle Wax Extreme shampoo and separate polish. Higly recommended.

AnilS.

BTW, does anyone know how soon a fresh 8 can be polished? I'm not sure how soon you are meant to go over the original wax.

2 different things - wax and polish - Wax protects - most polishes are abrasives - I never use a polish unless I am trying to remove marks. I'd get a good coat of wax on early.

As mentioned in an earlier post I was offered the supagard protection system for £199 from my dealer. They have now offered the similar Autoglym sealant pack for the same price.

Has anybody used these 2 produts before and can advise me what is the best.

Also is anybody else thinking of having the treatment on the RX-8.
