New RX8 Owner

Hey folks. Just thought I'd drop a line and announce that I'm now the owner of a new '07 in gray which I purchased on Tues evening. It's a Grand Touring with a 6MT. There are basically no options on the car, which is how I wanted it.

I'm here in Ellicott City, MD, and will be cruising this forum from time-to-time. I'll try to get a couple pics later.

I used to live a stone's throw from main street in one of the town houses on College Ave up on the hill. I moved from there early last year though. Main street's nice, huh?

Will do. I had a chance to get a similar car for about the same price but had 400 miles on it. They wouldn't take one extra dime off for that mileage and I was a little worried about what kind of driving was done on that car. The one I ended up with only had 2 miles. It might not matter in the end, but what the heck, might as well go for less miles.

A wise choice. 400 miles screams "demo-car" which means it took a beating.

The build date on that car was from November of last year and I was real surprised they wouldn't take any more off than the one that I bought, which basically hadn't been driven at all.

That's one heck of a tatoo you've got there, Mandy.

Welcome, remember to keep the car Rev happy and check the oil regularly. Make sure you find "the secret trunk handle" as well.

Inside of the trunk - lets you close it without touching your paint.
