Think about it, what REALLY sucks about it? I mean, it is awesome exposure for the car, which is a good thing, and i really don't think that the fact that it's britney means that there should now be pink stickers and flowers all over it... I think britney's image has shifted a LONG way away from the pink-sticker, little girl crowd.. just get a look at the video (or at least the clips) and you will see that it really isn't girlly at all...

 

thats the thing, I dont want exposure to the car until price drops :\. Plus the car loses its uniqueness if everyone has one / knows what it is.

 

Well, Mazda said from the get go that this, while being a great car, was not going to be a low production car. They have always planned on large production numbers... This car is more of a good way to get the rotary back on the roads... maybe later they will develop an exotic, but remember:

1. This car is priced VERY low (i.e. priced comparable to the many MANY SUVs on the road that nearly every middle-classed family owns)
2. This car is VERY practical, as far as ease of entry/exit, and sheer storage space (for a small car)

Two things that most exotics are not.

You wanting a low priced/unique car is kind of an oxymoron...

 

very true. It is a good thing that they are promoting the car BUT who else would notice that it was an rx-8 unless they focused more on the mazda symbol like in britneys video. But like i was saying, who else would notice the car unless you actualy knew about the car
