People don't seem to realize the OBO these days... and to be honest with you I think the car is worth aroud 20K to 21K.. I'm not trying to screw anyone outta their money... but you always start high in negotiations... but as for someone saying they would give me 16K for my car thats BS... I would not take a dime under 20K

 

Oh and if you are a wankle hater then why in the F**k are you on the RX8club forum... not to mention you didnt put in the correct information for my cars value... You sir... then you won't be selling your car ANYTIME soon. Take a look at what some of the other 8's on this site have sold for. ie; Lazi's custom RX-8 sold for 16,000.

 

OBO... for the people who don;t know what that means... it stands for Or Best Offer... and as far as that goes... I know mods don;t add sh*t for value to the car... but stoke.. no offense trust me this is your defense too... our RX8's are not identical... mine certainly has the appearance package and about $5K in mods to it... hes asking 20K for his and I am "ASKING" $24K for mine... I dont car what LAZ'z went for or anyone elses...I don;t have to sell... a simple no thank you or if you like the car and its what you want... remember the Or Best Offer... Jesus people don;t like something and they think it's cool to jump your case!!!

And in my defense... my package of vehicle with my options and mileage from KBB.com comes to $20,640 Private party value in excellent condition... and Suggested reatail for the car came to $23,750... and once again I know that mods don;t add value but the car does have over $5K in mods

So my starting asking price is fair I believe.. and I am sorry if you don;t like it... but I honestly do not have to sell it... I am just looking at getting back into a VW but if it continues to be this big of a burden of people dissin on my vehicle then F**K it

 

kelleyblue book is pure bullshit on the basis for what a car is worth. no one uses it.

I am in New York and willing to ship to you. I have a red Manual Transmition 2004 RX8. It has two toned red and balck leather inside, sunroof, THE WORKS!. GT Package. Fully loaded excluding the navigation and the appearance lowering kit. It only has 12,000 miles and is still under warrantee until 2011 (7yrs or 100k miles). I have upgraded the exhuast system to the greddy system and tinted the windows to limo tints. The car is in great condition and does not show any dents, marks, scrathes, DOESNT EVEN HAVE SUN MARKS. I have babied this car and kept it in the garage under a cover every day and night. If you are interersted the price is about 29,499 an I am willing to ship it to you.
