GI/SoCal. 19" Volk GT7 Diamond Black $2000 plus stock swap

[EDIT 12/11/07] $1500 plus OEM swap. I may have a buyer for my vehicle, but he is currently offering under what I want for the car as it sits....wheels may be one way to meet him closer to his offer.

I currently have my 04 BB up for sale and one of the options I gave a potential buyer was to lower the price by replacing the Volks with a set of stock wheels.

Is there anyone in the SoCal region that would be interested in swapping their stock wheels for my Volks, plus $2000?

I'm located in Fontana, CA...work in Hacienda Heights/City of Industry area.

If there is someone interested, and the buyer of my car wants stock wheels...we can then arrange a transaction.

I am hoping to get a list here of people who are interested. I would assume that the car would sell within a month? Please post if you are interested and I will create a priority list.

19x8.5 +46 & 19x9.5 +40 Volk GT-7
Dunlop Dirreza (DZ101)Tires (245/35 front / 275/30 rear)

EDIT. There has been no interest in the wheels at the desired $2000.00, so feel free to make an offer on the wheels and I will place you on the interest list Again, this is only an interest/intent list....the wheels are intended to be sold with the vehicle....but if the buyer wants to reduce the price of the car by swapping on OEM wheels, I would need to know how much one of you would be willing to pay for the wheels, including a swap with your OEM wheels.

I don't want to bash on your thread and I'm not, but I wanna help

keep in mind that this is a used wheel set and that 2k is usually wayy more than the budget people who are looking to buy used rim sets are willing to spend man.......maybe 1-1.5k someone on here would be interested and willing to pick them up from you

taja, yes, I agree....when I was your age, 2k for 4k wheels did sound a bit expensive. Enjoy your ADR or equivalent 1k wheels.

....oh, and remember, were talking tires as well.....have you priced 19 inch tires?

I am using 18X9 enkei RPM2s

I know your rims are expensive, but seriously I would be ok with buying your set man, but I'm just saying that maybe if you lower the price a bit more people would be interested?

I'm just trying to help, not provoking hostility here.........

and yes, the tires on 19s are ridiculously expensive, I'm already dying with mine...........

in either case, this is a good price for volk GT-7s..........I'll see if I can find u a buyer since ur local

Those are some expensive wheels. But you should consider taj's recommendation. You have to take current market price for your wheels, and the fact that you also want a trade for stock wheels + tires. But if you are adamant on getting $2k don't let us stop you.

As the title of the thread refers.....this was intended to Gauge the Interest on this set of wheels and tires. Obviously, since there is no one that has expressed interest.....this thread is dead.

I have not found a buyer for my car, so the issue is mute at this point.

Now, here is something you local guys could think about. If you want to make an offer on this set of wheels, and be placed on the interest list, then feel free. If you want to offer me $1000, $1100...etc. plus your stock wheels...go right ahead.

I could then use that information to let a possible buyer know how much I have been offered for the set of wheels, and that would lower the amount that I could offer them the car for.

So, if you are interested in the wheels..make an offer and I'll put it on the first post. Obviously, I don't care either way...since I'm not trying to make money on the car or the parts....I'm just trying to get out from under the car given changes in family needs.

EDIT: Price now at 1500 with OEM swap. OEM wheels MUST be in good condition with tires at least 70% tire tread remaining.

I have a possible buyer for my car, but he is under what I want for the car as it sits. Wheels may be one possible way to meet him at the price he wants the car at.

Did you have to roll the fenders to fit the wheels? Also, how much would you sell them without swapping for the stock wheels?

no problems at all with the fitment. I originally had stock camber -0.8 front, -1.8 rear....and they fit perfectly. Now have a more aggressive setup, still fit fine.

THESE WHEELS ARE A GREAT FITMENT. NO RUBS....

Quick question, might help:

Miles on TIRES? Do you have a tread depth reading?

Any curb marks, oxidation, fine scratches on the wheels?

These WHEELS ONLY would typically sell for about $2300.00 with centercaps and sales tax in California.

Tires and labor prob run around: $900.00.

Figure you'd pay about $3200.00 ON A GOOD DAY for this setup.

Figure you guys can work off this accordingly. OEM Wheels Value at about $600.00 I'd think for perfect OEM Wheels and relatively new tires.

Hope this helps some of the guys gain perspective on your sale.

GL bro. I'm selling my 8 too, just parted out a ton of **** like a cheap *****.

GOD DAMN if I had a job I'd buy these so fast. Why couldn't I be working still...
Why couldn't you be selling these while I was working?!

No one understands the bargain they could be getting...

Just remember guys,

Keith needs stock wheels.

No point in shipping stock wheels with tires to him and him doing the same to you. That itself will add like $300.00 to the price i'm sure in roundtrip shipping costs.
