Need A Little Help

Hey guys I bought a set of 19" AV3's a while back and finnaly getting around to the tires and was wanting to ask a little question. The recommended tire sizes are 225/40/19 FR , and 255/35/19 REAR . I was wondering about putting 35's up front too and if it would be better than the 40 ?

Oh and the specific rims sizes are 19x8.5 FR & 19x9.5 rear. Both with a 45mm offset.

Thanks

They will both come out looking about the same height- see sig. You definitely want to go this route.

40% of 225 is 90 and 35% of 255 is 89.25 It would be almost impossible for the eye to see a difference of 0.75 imo.

35s all around should pose no problems but I could be wrong. But keep in mind that at heights 78.78 and 89.25 your car will be raised significantly in the back. This might pose problems with the DSC and ABS functions. But these aren’t important really but someone set me str8 if that setup has the potential of "danger".

The sellers are concerned about the air pocket inside the tires which are responsible for holding the cars weight up. Safety is king so I would go with the recommended set up. As a plus, they will also appear aesthetically balanced.

Congrats on the the new gear.

Thanks, I believe I may go with 40s up front then.
