Talking "If you leave me now, you take away the very heart of me....(Chicago)

Normally,

He Who Hesitates Is Lost !!

But, ...there is hope:
1.) Check (hill-country-visitor-com) "lodging" in this order of proximity:
Leakey, Vanderpool Camp Wood, Utopia, Barksdale & on the route back, Hunt,
Medina, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Johnson City.
2.) Even without lodging, we have drivers going all the way to Leakey on Sat. & back to Austin without staying overnight in Leakey. Others are going part way as far as they can & returning. The roads & scenery are that awsome.
3.) I will send an email out to see if any cabins have room when you let me know: For one or two people ?? Notify asap; don't wait, busy week.

LD.

Is there any camping close by? I have my small 2 man tent that I use when I ride my bike to out in the sticks places.
Garner State park is close by so wonder what they have!

Thank you for the information and you're right, I shouldn't have hesitated...this is what I get! Thanks for the info, though, I have a few things to reschedule but hopefully I'll be there and keep you posted! Thanks!

Ag, I have room in my cabin, girlfriend dumped me over the phone while I was out of town,
so it's only me now unless I can find someone else to take with me or whatever. I'd be happy to lend you a bed if you need a place to crash.

Just a bump as we're only a day away now, and i'm offering a free place to stay to anyone who wants to go but lost out on accomodations. It'd be an even bigger bonus if you just happened to be female, and around your mid thirties or younger is ok, and if you're looking to swoop up on a due coming off a rebound.....ha! I kid I kid I was serious about the cabin though, feel free to pm me before Saturday if you need info and want to go and need a place to stay etc.

Thanks to ALL who made it out, this was truly one amazingly fantastical rad kickass weekend My gosh the roads, all the cars, good food, good times, getting my car sideways a little on the little turnaround thingie going on to 281 (doh! lol) I just can't express how much fun I had this weekend.
We had an excellent turnout too, a bunch of Rx-7's, Rx-8's, an S2k, 2 300zx, at one point on the way back we even had a street rod riding with us a little ways lol

Thanks again all, and my apologies for the ginormous picture it's 1600x1200 (oops) More pics available here they're just the raw big *** pics I took over the weekend.
I'm sure other people who went will be adding some as well, and maybe even some video

This was the gang as we started out Saturday,

those were taken on one of the roads we entered coming out of Leakey, and img365 was taken prior to getting there and a ways after Kerrville. I don't remember the numbers etc., maybe Larry (topdownbackroads) or someone else can remember, it was an insane route, some of that stuff chopped right out of the hillsides lol

I'm doing well. Enjoying my time off!

Yeah, your car looks great, I am uploading two more vids now and the pics. I'll post those either tonight or tomorrow.

Your car is the same color as lemonade...that cool refreshing drink!
