Hmm. I can't read all caps..

Ok, maybe I can.

I have the rear bumper & the guy had to rework the corner's a bit where the exhaust exits to make sure the bumper didnt melt. The bumper fits well, but the rear support is a bit in the way & takes some modification.. Veilside is a good kit, will fit nice, but will need work. No body kit is perfect.

I have never put a body kit on, is this something i should let a pro do. I talked to a shop in fl and he said it was a direct bolt on. This kit is made of fiberglass should not melt. The other kit that veilside makes is manufactured out of urthene and that one is said to melt in the rear bumber. does anyone have pics that i can see where mods will need to be done and the rear support which needs mod

veilside is japanese fiberglass and will require work...i have an authentic one and it wasnt perfect....it wasnt bad either....it is NOT a direct bolt on....let a pro install and paint it...if your referring to the version 1 kit then its a lip kit and the rear has been known to melt with bigger exhaust tips

Since were on this subject , wondering to the ones that have this Veilside what was your wait on it ?

I place an order on 9-11-07 and I'm still waiting .
Called them a couple of weeks ago and they told me their in customs.
When I first place the order I was told a 2 week wait. So much for that.

I went with :

Ver.1 front lip
D1-GT side skirt

Dose it normally take that long?

Thanks...........

The hate likely springs from how it makes the car look. If there was a poll that asked which kit you thought was the most polarizing, I bet veilside overwhelmingly wins.

the way it looks is also about the complete package......paint, wheels, hood, execution all have a huge impact on it....there are a few veilside 8's out there that look really good in my opinion and some that look like beached lobsters.....i like it cuz its different.....to me the mazdaspeed looks too stock and way too many people have it now.....

No it's 3 days for US customs. If there is an inspecton of the container, then it's another week max.

I deal with this everyday.
