Keep viewing the "Rx8 sightings thread" and there maybe a total of two Vancouver related sightings? nothing in Kelowna or in the interior. Soooo...... Let's start a new thread, for us BC folks. Since we're sure to have seen each other once or twice and always wondered "Hey I seen ya! who are you?"

There is a BC club for those who don't know yet. They have these cool vinyls too, and a website: www.bcrx8.ca (got to plug our local RX8 friends!) In any case, lets start this thread of with some sightings...

 

There is a stunning new blue RX8 that parks on Quay side drive in New Westminster, near the Marano building.

Also, there is a yellow RX8 in BC somewhere. Hot and rare color, when I saw the car I was so stunned, I slipped a gear. Very nice ride!

I've seen a new 2007 shinka in Burnaby driven by a gal on Sprott turn off near Lougheed HWY. We waved at each other. I drive a shiny red RX8.

Also, there's a great looking blue RX8 with some custom wheels, a turbo, and a killer spoiler, you know who you are! that is a hot car dude!

I've seen a white 8 parked in my buildings underground visitor parking lot all the time. It's the Novo building up at SFU.

 

There is a Blue RX8 that parks on Quay Side Drive out side of 6 Renaissance Square in New Westminster.

But you only park there for a little while, cuz your car always seems to go underground shortly after.

 

Sunday afternoon, (Foot ball game time)

I saw a gorgeous silver RX8 parked outside outside a parking lot, infront of one of the towers near Edmond's Station. It had the Break-In dent that we are all starting to receive.

I left a note on the windshield, letting them know about Dents Unlimited, and my phone number. Hope you get your door repaired by Dents Unlimited!

I'm really sorry to see yet ANOTHER Rx8 get broken into this way! that SUCKS!

 

I've had my RX-8 dented twice now in attempted breakins but they've never suceeded, I thought the flaw was only in Pre07 Mazda 3s has anyone acctualy had someone succeed in breaking into thier RX-8?

saw a blue rx8 today on willingdon liek mine XD with an autoexe sticker, prolly had the exhaust too, i was right behind it =)

 

I was coming home from Victoria on the ferry in my white 8. I look in my rearview while loading and what is behind me??.......another white 8!!! Had a bike rack hitch thing on the back.
I saw a few in Vic. while I was there. Black one on Blanshard with his winter steels on. Was going to chase him down to findout where he got them but I was standing on the sidewalk.
Red one followed me for a while then waved on Quadra.
I saw a silver one in Kelowna when I was there for the TOOL concert.
Mine is stationed in Williams Lake and I'm pretty sure there isn't another one for a couple hundred miles.

If you are in the BC area, you might like to know that BCRX8 has found a sure fire fix for the security flaw produced by Mazda.

It takes about 15 minutes, with the right tools and know how.
BC RX8 club is interested in getting all their members security systems upgraded with this fix, by the end of June. Yes for Free.

I've got the fix already.... VERY NICE INDEED :D

 

Saw white RX8 heading north near Boston Bar on hwy 97 in snow storm on December 22nd. Left my white one at home and took the pacifica awd.....glad i did.

 

Saw a Blue RX8 parked in the underground at Mayfair Mall today in Victoria.

 

Black 8 passed by on 1st ave on Sunday afternoon....I was at first (hwy 1 exit) waiting for the light.

 

There were 4 RX8s at an intersection this morning, Cambie Street and 6th Avenue, Vancouver (just before the bridge).

Mine is a winning blue going downtown. Firstly I saw another winning blue in front of me, then a galaxy grey joined us, then another mica blue (opposite direction) making a right turn. I have never seen so many 8s at 1 intersection... that's pretty cool.

 

I saw a dark red 'shinka' RX-8 outside of the Westin bayshore hotel last night around 9:45PM.

Then I saw a black 8 on Hastings near renfrew this morning on my way into the office

 

I see a white RX8 parked on Granville Street just off of Georgia near the sky train entrance, and across the street from the mall entrance. Parked before 6:45pm and left around 7:00pm. On December 15.
