Sorry if you though you were going to see a pic...

This won't work for me (my 8 is red), but imagine the top half of the rear view mirrors in chrome. I think this would work well with black and green body colours - particularly with aftermarket wheels.

Opinions?

As from your earlier experience of your beloved rx8 being egged and keyed why would someone want to bring more unnecessary attention to their rx8 , it already gets plenty of attention as is IMHO , there is enough jealous ****** out there without making the rx8 more of a target with the chromed mirrors .

Dont get me wrong i think they would look cool if not a bit elitist , or puffy.

Sorry - my mental image had chrome wheels and side vents and strakes ... couldn't you see that :D

IMO it'll unfortunately draw attention no matter what we do or don't do to the car's appearance.

No doubt I'll be a victim again one day - but I'm not going to let the actions of society's scum ruin my fun and keep me inside!

 

IMO, no way...maybe the plastic piece under the top half but not the upper painted half...and i wouldn't go chrome, i'd go black chrome...

chrome rims, chrome accents, chrome strakes are just about all the chrome i need...any more chrome on the car and you'll be bling blinging yourself to a brand new stolen car

I like the chrome mirrors on some of the audi's

Out of curiosity, wouldn't that mean that people would like the appearance of the chrome on the car? Just a though...

Chrome mirrors would remind me of the full sized chevy trucks with the chrome fronts on their mirrors. I think if I saw it, I just may like it. But until then, hesitant.
