Today I got motivated to do a photoshoot. All taken less than a mile from my house.

 

 

Others from today's shoot fit with the aerospace theme so I posted them there.

The camera is an Oly550UZ. It's got a wicked zoom that goes 28-wide to 500+tight. That kind of range gives you plenty of angles to play with, but you pay for it with focusing performance as it can hunt the full range. It's a love/hate relationship!

That plant is so huge that it made the car look like a toy. Gotta drop the clutch to escape its grasp...

 

Now in that shot, you're the one that is about to attack the car. lol

Great place. I wish I had that kind of place only less than a mile away. Nice pics.

 

It's right by NASA in Houston, and the community is called 'Nassau Bay'. Kind of a play on words.



It is very scenic, but the whole area for hundreds of miles is way too flat for my 8. I have to go out toward Austin before I can find the funner twisties with some vertical action.
