Wheelbase looks shorter than my miata. Interesting photoshopping though.

 

I think it makes the roofline too much of a bubble and doesn't work with the rest of the body. Different angles could look very awkward.

So, where would the gas tank go in this model?

 

The middle section of the car is too short. It would be a pretty tight fit for anyone with legs. :p Just stretch the middle out a little bit and it will look much better IMO.

 

It needs to have hatch rear window. In other words rear window needs to slant alot more and trunk doesn't have to be that big. Trunk should be very small.

 

GAs tank? who needs a gas tank?

 

this has actually been done somewhere else on this forum...not exactly like it but same concept...it kinda looks like a 99 mercedes clk roadster....thumbz down for the concept but thumbs up for the nice photochop!

it look like a size similar to the miata witha rotory.
thats it that must be tlehf 2005 miata.

The proportion looks pretty much like a SLK IMO.

On second thought, nah. I think there's a car already that's like that. I agree that it looks too bubbly. I guess the gas tank will have to go in the trunk, like that hydrogen proto.

I know! Make it like a wagon, straight-back on the top - to the rear end with a wagon-type hatch. Then you could have the tank below with storage above! I agree too about bigger brakes! Need more brakes! Woooooo!

it looks better with the suicide doors, or the free style doors on it.

 

The green house is too bubbly, you need to shorten it some, not very proportionate.

 

Yeah, Mazda showed up a week early here in Vegas for the SEMA show.

They brought it to my house and then we rallied it on the lake beds out here.
