Just got new Venus wheels from Effects, and the OEM spoiler. Tell me what you think.

It is asking for a drop! Get some springs/coilovers.

Looks good! I would say before anything else, I would add clear corners. I added them on my BB and it makes a huge difference!

Yeah i know, coilovers are too much right now, but i'm planning on getting new springs. Would they make my suspension not last as long? or do any harm to my car? and would i need new shocks..etc..

throw a white RX-8 decal on your calipers...you can purchase them from Polak...they enhance the black on black look with your wheels and its a cheap mod.

Supposedly, in the long run, all springs will eventually wear out your stock shocks or something. There is a thread about springs, which gives a lot of information on each brand. Obviously each spring gives a different drop height. I have the Tein S-Tech. My springs didn't require me to change any of my stock shocks. Research really well on each brand. But, if you are going with springs that will require you to buy aftermarket shocks, I would just go with the coilovers.

Nice pics.

Yes you have to buy new rear shocks.

They are weak. Otherwise you will regret it.

i was just looking at my car to see if i wanted springs, i know i'm getting clear corners, but i'm still iffy about the springs, if i get the drop, i want it to be around an inch, i've looked at a few spings and found ones i like, but i'm scared that if i get them i will be too low and hit speed bumps/curbs. please prove me wrong and tell me your experiences. because i do want springs
