Any opinions on whether or not to buy a winter tire set or tires and wheels?

Thoughts about pressure sensors?

If you're planning to drive on any sort of slippery surface (cold pavement, snow, ice...) then you will have to get different tires. The stock high performance summer tires will be completely useless.

There are several threads in the Tires and Wheels section and in the Canada regional section discussing winter wheel and tire setups. Browse and search in those forums and you'll find plenty to read!
