After a long-*** wait, my Accolade fenders finally came in. Here are a few pics of them. I'll post more once I get them painted and installed.

the fenders look good, should look hot on your 8.

 

very small. i was never a fan of the fenders, but i'll be sure to check them out in person at ssx.

I'm going to put them on today, and probably drop them off at the painters on Wednesday.

Btw I resized all the pics, they're much larger now.

 

They look good for the most part.. I want to see the fitment and how they look when they are on.

 

I'm also getting the Seibon TSII hood. I think the vents will match nicely.

 

uhh 2 quick questions for these fenders. do they run flush with the stock bumper or are they supposed to only match the accolade front bumper. and...do u lose safety going from metal panels to fiberglass panels?

fiberglass will crack or shatter where metal will dent or bend. rock chips can also occur more often due to fiberglass.

 

So I put them most of the way on today. I ran out of time cause I had to go to dinner with a friend. Fitment seems well so far. I didn't put the bumper on, but the headlights fit pretty well. There is a very small gap in the corner there, but that can be easily repaired. I didn't cut enough out of the inside of it to fit my vertical hinge assembly, so I have to do that and then drill holes for all those crappy plastic screws that go on the inside of the fender. All the other holes are pre-drilled.

I won't be able to work on it much this week, so I'll wait for the weekend to prep it for the painters, and I'll drop it off on Monday.

 

Will be looking at the finished product at SSX.

 

sweet. I also got my accolade cspec front bumper and cspec fenders a few weeks back, and i love them!! quality is quite good im sure u would agree.. post some pics up man when its all done up.

have you weighed the fenders stock vs accolades yet?

 

i was thinking of getting the same fenders!! so did they fit well?? cuz many people say they do not....

 

since this car sat in my driveway for over a year (the OP is in the airforce now and stationed in Germany) I can tell you these fenders fit like ***.

but can anyone tell me where I can get the strakes to go with these fenders...like the one on the blue mazda in the picture....i cannot seem to find them anywhereeeeee for these fenders from accolade..
