I heard from my buddy that a-spec is a little overpriced. Probably because they are one of the only rotary specialists in the area though.

The next closest that I know of is Banzai Racing. http://www.banzai-racing.com/
I'm not sure they want anything to do with an RX8.

There is Protege Garage in Libertyville (Rt21 near the Metra station). They are not rotary specialists, but do have rotary knowledge.

Is your RX8 no longer under warranty?

She is still under warranty.

I am just wondering just in case I get this aftermarket bug again.
I do most of my own work (maintenance and simple installs), but if I do want to
try something crazy it would be nice to know where a reputable shop is near.

I just did all my fluid changes, brake pads, brake lines.
I think the fluid changes are extremly easy. Well, a lot easier than my evo.

Loving the car even more knowing how easy/simple to work on it is.
There is so much room under the hood
