Tuan has floated the idea of a cruise this Sunday.

Who's up for it?

Time, meetup point and destination all negotiable at this point but we'll lock something down by tomm arvo (because some people may not have computer access away from work).

Sydney newbies always welcome. Good way to break the internet ice and realise that some of us are scarily real and not 12 year old kids pretending they own an RX8.

 

We have 2 threads running. This theoretically should double our chances Dave.

But I'm definitely up, this RX8 needs to burn!

maybe we can have a cruize South west e.g a cruize to Warragamba Dam to see
how high the water level ?

I'm keen for a Bells Line of Road to Lithgow and back.

Should only take the morning into early arvo, depending on when we leave.

How about 9.00am for 9.15am sharp departure from Hornsby Macca's (the one on Old Paccy Hwy).

Route - Galston Road, Cattai Ridge Road, Scheyville Road, Kurrajong Road, Bells Line of Road to Lithgow and return.

We've done it before but I couldn't be bothered coming up with an alternate route atm and it's a good run.

If that's too long, we can just do Hornsby - Windsor and return...

 

Most of the cruises are north because it's mainly the northern crew who get off their asses to organise and attend them.

I'm happy to look at a south west cruise though. Pick a date and set something up. Just start a thread like this one and see who comes in.

Im from lower north shore.Near the bridge.. I'd love to meet up with some rx8's. Only been on mixed rotary cruises. Only thing is that i start work that day at 1(maybe 2) so 9am is a good time..

it's pretty for hard me to come when i have 2 y.o boy , that i need to bath , clean and pack his bag. By the time i m ready, it's probably 9am.

take another 1 hour to Hornsby, i won't get there until 10am.

I can do a 9AM meet at KK but is everyone okay to meet/leave Hornsby at 10AM?

I might have another 2 rx8's in the bag but tbc on that one.

 

I've got two kids, so I know the drill. Respectfully suggest you bath him and pack his bag the night before and let excitement get you out of bed a little earlier.

 

Suggest we leave it at 9am because Mattdrift has to get to work later.

I'm a maybe for this cruise. I got two factors working against me though. 1) I hope my pay cheque gets processed tommorow ('coz of APEC) so I can pay for fuel; 2) I hope I won't be too paraplegic from an 18th B-Day Party the saturday night before, lol.
