Just wanted to see what you guys thought about a couple of packages we are trying to put together for aftermarket Navigation installed for the RX-8

Install would take about a day.

We are looking at using the corksport dash kit.

We have a corksport kit about to go in to our Mazday RX-8 Show car.

Please keep in mind that everything we do in our department has a warrantee through our department. So if you have problems you come to us. We don’t send you any where else. A courtesy car is provided at no extra charge while install is done.

Which Eclipse unit are you using and which dash kit? Has your department done this install yet? If so, how long did it take? This will be helpfull so you can let your customers know how much they are paying for the equipment and for labor.

Deck around $1300
Corksport kit and wire harness $650 i think with steering wheel control adapter

Equals : $1950 retail in hardware

So $1000 bucks for install? Ouch!

 

With the Steering wheel control and all you are looking at $xxxxx shipped.

Install will be a little much but it will look like it came from the factory. We don’t specialize in shotty work, we have custom work done and it has to meet our high standards.

So cost does start to get up there but that is the price you pay for perfection.
