Just got the SO-3's from tire rack. Want to contribute as I have gained mucho knowledge from here. Been trolling for over two years. 04 w/ 56K miles. This is my 4thset of tires, 15mpg avg.

The best tires Ive owned have been the re040's. In order of best, RE040's, TKDW's, toyoproxy's (suck), and TBD so-3's.

The SO-3's seemto be very week in the side wall. I was told they were OEM for the ZO6 corv. Feels like im floating on air. 129$ a piece is pretty good though. maybe the guy mounted themwrong?

I think the side wall stiffness is what makes or breaks a tire for this car. I wish they made a tire like the BFW T/A KO All terrain. Anyway, hope ive helped.

4th set at 54K...dayyaam! I'm on my 1st set at 33K OEM and still about 5K left easy....you must really rip it up!

Cant believe that. You must get 20+ mpg too. I did keep my front tires on the last batch.

NoIve not been to a meet. Maybe the next one. I honestly dont believe you have 33K on oem tires. I barely got 12K. But Im still one my original engine

After driving 100 miles on them they definetly are not a good tire for this car. I can actually feel the car play catch up when I turn..
