I was so pissed, I took her out yesterday (saturday) for a wash. I see a key scratch about 2 ft long on my drivers side door about 5 inches down below the key hole. Right where they started its really deep for about 4 inches than it gets lighter and gets medium deep for another 3-4 inches.

The light spots can more than likely be buffed out, but the deep parts will require respraying the entire door. I was thinking if its worth it cause they will have to paint that entire side of the car to blend it all. for 1 thats alot of money and 2 I dont think its worth it.

any ideas fellas? any places i can take it too, to see if they can just cover it up a bit? make it less noticable?

This is why I don't drive my car anywhere where I'll have to leave it parked. I take the car out to drive it around, but I never leave it parked for more than 15min's!

Too many ******** out in the world. They see a nice clean car, and they just want to ruin your day. They either ding the car or they scratch it up.

It happened to my bro's car while he was working at Futureshop. He finished work and noticed he had a scratch starting from the front fender all the way to the rear quarter. The deepest parts being around the door area.

Okay so i have an appointment with the scratch clinic on Saturday i forgot what the place is called. The guy said it wont get rid of it all but it will reduce it alot. Im happy with that.

55 bucks to do it. I will let you guys know how it turns out.
