Am I the only one that gets annoyed at the fact that anything you stick in the console or trunk comes out pretty warm?

I'm utterly annoyed.

 

There are a couple of things that annoy me about the car. This is not one of them.

 

Try that in Phoenix.
Everything you put in the car (including the passengers) come out warm with a pink/red center.
My car was parked in the garage this morning and it was still too hot to get in when I went out for lunch today.
I had a package of York Peppermint Patties I forgot about in the back seat and now I have York Peppermint Milkshakes.

 

I'm posting this because I'm a +7.

The second reason is because I need to know from Mazda maniac how he gets away with his avatars! (they are pretty cool!)

Ha, thank the rotary exhaust for that.

 

speaking of rotary exhaust. i smelled something burning today while waiting at a stop light. i couldn't identify the smell but it was awful. i thought it was the hummer in front of me but at the next light, (behind a diff. car), the smell got worse. i parked my car and the horrible smell was coming from my rx8! i opened the hood and sniffed around but could not pinpoint where or what the smell is. i put the car on the lift and found a plastic bag from taco bell that melted on my exhaust, (just behind the cat). i guess it must've wrapped around my exhaust while driving. it was MELTED!! i tried scraping off the melted plastic but the exhaust was too damn hot. i waited 20-30 mins for it cool down a bit but as it cooled down, so did the plastic bag. now it is solid and i couldn't even scrape it off.

 

mmm only when im out skating and i leave my water bottle back there (insert angry face... too lazy)
