Question on Tein Hood Damper Lubrication

So i just put the hood dampers in yesterday and lubed up the shaft with the grease (NO HOMO) that they gave me. Everythings fine but it seems like that grease hardens after closing the hood for a few hours, and then when opening the hood... it sounds like butt seks.

Anyone know of a better lube to use on the shaft?

harry, try to find white lithium grease. very commonly used in door handles. great resistance to water, also to heat.

you can find it at walmart or any parts store... it works well on lots of stuff...

or you could just spit on it... if you have no lube.
