maintenance for engine parts.

Hi people, just want to ask something in here and share some tips and some experience. Nice forum, just signed in.

The last time I got my maintenance for my Mazda 3, the mechanic said I have to replace my Mazda Valve cover. Where can I get something that won't be rusty at all, can plastic survive? Other ideas I need. Thanks.

Yeah, when I had the heads on my RX8 ported and polished I got a Mugen valve cover.

Major PITA. I did the valve cover delete mod. If anyones interested, I think there's a thread in the DIY section.
